GS Moms believes that every couple deserves the opportunity to grow their family. Each couple can explore the variety of options and choose the path to parenthood that is right for you. GS Moms will advocate for you and your family as we navigate the options available together. What are some fertility options available to Same-Sex Male couples?

Expanding your family can be achieved in a variety of ways and GS Moms can provide a number of fertility options specifically for same sex male couples. Our family planning strategy focuses on the creation of an embryo that is able to be transferred to a person capable of carrying a pregnancy.

Egg Donor Matching Services – GS Moms maintains an extensive egg-donor database that allows for a wide-range of parameters when selecting an egg donor.  When you decide to start your journey with GS Moms, you will be given access to search donors across the globe. You can decide the kind of relationship you want with your egg donor and if you would like your child(ren) to have the opportunity to contact her and at what point.

Gestational Surrogacy – Once an embryo is developed, it is transferred to a Gestational Surrogate who carries the pregnancy for the couple. Gestational Surrogacy means that the embryo has no genetic connection to the surrogate – the offspring remains the genetic child of the creators of the embryo.

Sperm/Embryo Cryogenic Preservation – Additional options available to same-sex male couples include preservation of reproductive cells including sperm and embryos for pregnancies at a later date. Genetic materials of this type can be cryogenically frozen for an indefinite period of time. Some couples will choose to take the eggs from their egg donor and divide them in half and have each half fertilized by each partner’s sperm. Some Intended Fathers will choose to have one embryo from each partner transferred at the same time to the Gestational Carrier and others will save the embryos from one partner to try at a later date.
