To start, the age requirements for becoming an egg donor are straightforward as the applicants are required to fall within the viable age range of 21 to 29 years old. This age guideline is put in place in order to ensure safety of our egg donors as well as provide higher pregnancy success rates. Some clinics require age 21, but many will accept under age 21. GS Moms will work with the donor, Intended Parents, and clinics to find the best possible cycle match for any donor under age 21. 

The older women get over age 35 the harder it is for women to become pregnant. For women entering pre menopause they may begin to no longer ovulate meaning that there are less chances for fertilization to occur. By using eggs of younger women the chances for getting a healthy egg for fertilization is much more likely due to the fact that younger women have more eggs available and that their body is able to create stronger and healthier eggs.
